Dual Check Backflow Preventer | Lead-Free

Lead-Free Solid Brass Dual Check Valve w/Intermediate Atmospheric Vent Back-flow Preventers meet IAPMO-UPC & ASSE 1052 standards. They effectively prevent back siphon of water into the potable drinking water system at the hose bibb, venting any higher back-pressure to the atmosphere. This method is most effective to prevent cross-connection between campsites or other devices attached to hose bibbs in the same water system. Great for campsites or marina water hookups.

**Once the back-flow preventer is installed with the factory screws, it cannot be removed. We recommend the #SS20 Stainless Steel Removable Locking Screws. This item allows back-flow preventers to be removed for service of the hose bibb, yet remain tamper-proof.
