Good quality faucet- misleading information about the connection

The quality of the push down faucet looks good. The connection is G 1/2 (British system) compression connection that the King supply company says that it is almost indistinguishable from the usual plumbing connections in USA. The truth is that G 1/2 is not compatible with the USA connections. The G 1/2 compression connection of the faucet uses a copper ring, so you can connect it to a 1/2 inch hard copper, and then go from there. It is not recommended to use the copper ring compression connection with CPVC or PEX or soft copper. On the other hand, if you try to connect the faucet directly to a threading made in US, you will not be able to do it!
