Solenoid Valve | Brass Body
Our brass pilot-operated solenoid valves feature 1/2” female NPT connections, making them compatible with 1/2” copper or CPV plastic tubing. These valves are designed to be controlled by coin timers, which signal the internal pilot to switch and open the valve, allowing water to flow through.
How Solenoid Valves Work
1. Coin Timer: Insert a coin to start the timer, which controls how long the valve stays open.
2. Electrical Signal: The coin timer sends an electrical signal to the solenoid valve, instructing it to open.
3. Solenoid Valve Opens: Upon receiving the signal, the solenoid valve opens, allowing water (or gas) to flow through, such as in a coin-operated shower.
4. Timer Runs: The coin timer keeps track of the duration based on the amount of money inserted.
5. Valve Closes: When the set time expires, the coin timer signals the solenoid valve to close, stopping the flow of water (or gas).
This system ensures efficient and controlled use of water, perfect for applications like coin-operated showers.
