    Ask a Question
    • What is the the amount of lead in the item?

This product is certified 'lead-free' which means it has less than the 0.25% lead content allowed.

    • Is this item designed for constant pressure?

None of the hose type are "certified" for constant pressure, however they are all widely used for constant pressure.  Gov't agencies and public and private campgrounds/marinas all use them in constant pressure applications save for (I believe) Minnesota and maybe a few others.  Even federal campgrounds use them on campsites that have campers connected to them with constant pressure, and have bought thousands from us for that purpose over the years.  Most all Boards of Health and Public Safety accept them for constant pressure situations as they offer excellent protection for backflow prevention.  So officially NO, in reality YES.  We can't officially offer these for constant pressure use but most all buy these for constant pressure applications.   A true certified backflow preventer on each campsite or marina slip is very cost prohibitive, and this is why health org's accept these (or look away) as this offers far better protection than "no protection" at all.

    • Is the part no. Bfp6dnl. Hose bib back flow prevention device frost free. Self draining when hose is removed

This backflow preventer is not frost-free or self draining, but we do carry a vacuum breaker that is self draining and frost free. Product code# BFPSDNL. This hose bibb can be found here:
